PCYC represents HOPE.

My Name is Cynthia Bryant. I’m a graduate of PCYC’s alternative high school, and I’ve been working here at the agency for 18½ years.

If it wasn’t for PCYC I don’t know where I’d be right now. The people here believed in me and what I was capable of regardless of my circumstances. They gave me a second chance, and basically saved my life.

PCYC represents hope, which sometimes feels like a dying thing nowadays. Our teachers and staff genuinely care for students and people of the community. They’re willing to listen. They recharge your hope, and can make you feel ok about not being ok sometimes.

PCYC has something for everyone – young, old, and in between. We offer a plethora of resources for those who need them. It’s a safe place for kids in the community to experience and learn new things.

And PCYC stands up and with the Northside community. We’re a family. When the community hurts we hurt, too.

This place has withstood the test of all times, and we will continue to educate our young people and cherish our community.  PCYC is needed today more than ever.
