Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to PCYC and governs data collection and usage. The PCYC website is a nonprofit site. By using the PCYC website, you consent to the data practices in this statement.

General Data.

When visiting the PCYC website, visitors have the option to enter data for the purpose of requesting information or ask questions. This data is used only for the purpose of communicating with you and will not be shared or sold to anyone outside our organization.

PCYC reserves the right to disclose personal information as required by law.

Donor Data

Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC) is committed to the privacy and security of both online and offline donor information. All donors to PCYC provide certain personal information which may include names, contact information and financial information. Whenever sensitive information (e.g. credit card information) is collected that information is encrypted and transmitted to a third-party in a secure way. That information is not sold or distributed to outside agencies.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. All offline information after use is shredded and not housed at PCYC.

PCYC will not sell, share or trade donor information with any other entity and PCYC will not send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

Privacy Protection for Children under Age 13

PCYC does not collect personal information directly from children who are under 13 years old. However, a child of this age may occasionally be eligible for certain programs or services administered through our Sites, in which case, a parent or legal guardian of such child must provide the child’s personal information to PCYC. The parent or legal guardian must also provide his or her own contact information (e.g., email address, mailing address and phone numbers). All communications pertaining to the program or service will be sent directly to such parent or legal guardian. The personal information (identifiable or not) of such parent or legal guardian collected is subject to this Privacy Policy.

Links to Other Sites

This Privacy Policy applies to data collected on Sites administered by PCYC only. The Sites may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by PCYC. Be aware when you leave our Sites and read the privacy statements pertaining to other sites you may link to.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

PCYC does not sell, rent or lease its customer list to third parties.

Tracking User Behavior

PCYC may keep track of the website and pages our users visit within the site, in order to determine what
program services are the most popular. This data may be used to deliver customized advertising to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular program area.

Discontinue Contact and Data Removal Policy

It is the policy of PCYC to discontinue contacting any person upon that person’s written request.

Data will only be stored as long as needed to fulfill legitimate business purposes or for a period of time
specifically required or allowed by applicable regulations or laws.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there. If you wish to have us discontinue processing or storing your data, you may contact our Director of Communication, Janet Zahn, using the contact information below. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
