As North Minneapolis schools have settled into new routines, and afterschool programs are adjusting how they support their communities, it’s even more important to provide meaningful learning experiences that help build scholars’ confidence and resilience.

This fall, Bright Futures (BF) instruction remains online, bringing condensed and meaningful programming to scholars while they’re safe at home. Programming is focused on activities that spark creativity, critical thinking, and build confidence in learning through purposeful play.

BF is also looking to close gaps of social isolation for scholars that are still learning at home, as well as provide opportunities for families to get creative together through Bright Futures on Demand. This innovative online library, created by our staff, features fun activities and lessons (examples pictured below) that can be accessed at any time by all registered BF families.

Bright Futures would also like to recognize all the hard and important work that our staff members are doing as they continue to display courage, resilience and grace in the face of the new challenges COVID-19 has presented.

Enrollment for the Bright Futures program is ongoing. Register here, or call 612-643-2096.
