Dear Friends of PCYC and Children,
I wish to thank you all for the privilege of working with you and the children, youth, adults and families of North Minneapolis for the past 48 years.
When my husband Jim and I moved to Minneapolis in 1973 we had hopes that through our service we’d make a difference in the community. Perhaps that has happened to some degree, but we’ve received far more than we’ve given.
As I retire from my official work at PCYC I most heartily welcome our new executive director, Christopher Campbell. You folks are key to his and to PCYC’s ongoing success, and with his leadership PCYC will reach new heights of excellence in fulfilling our mission!
And, though I’m leaving the day-to-day at PCYC, I’m not saying goodbye. Jim and I look forward to seeing you at the Capri this fall, and we’ll always be enthusiastic patrons of the wonderful art and activities available to us in the new Capri.
Finally, ever the fundraiser, we still have some money to raise to pay for Capri construction costs and to keep PCYC financially sustainable well into the future. I welcome your generous gifts in this last phase of the Capri campaign to Bring Up the Lights On West Broadway!
With much gratitude,
