Academics at PYC Arts & Tech High School
• Dedicated staff working with you to meet your academic goals.
• Small, individualized class sizes of 16 to 18 students.
• One-on-one tutors available to help with math, reading, and MCA test preparation.
• Focus on core academics (Math, English, Science and Social Studies) in the morning.
• Afternoons: credit make-up, PE, health & wellness, service learning, and arts and technology.
• Many other options available to make-up credit.
• All classes have art or technology projects as a part of the curriculum.
• Students must meet all Minnesota and Minneapolis Public School requirements for graduation.
• Students who complete all graduation requirements will receive an Minneapolis Public School diploma.
• Students who meet eligibility requirements may participate in extra-curricular activities and sports at North, Henry, Edison, and other high schools.
• Work with Achieve Minneapolis to provide students support as they prepare for college and receive scholarships.
• College scholarships are awarded to all PYC graduates.
